I graduated from University of Illinois and started my career as an associate at a 30-person firm, specializing in transactional real estate. Wanting a more flexible schedule, I left practice and started teaching in Hamline’s undergraduate Legal Studies program and at William Mitchell College of Law. In 2005, I joined the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA), first as an attorney editor and later as Director of practicelaw.org. I left the MSBA to work as a freelance writer and editor. I have extensive experience drafting model agreements, forms, checklists, blog posts, and website copy, and enjoy the challenge of communicating legal information effectively to the intended audience.
